Restoration is at
a standstill due to the economy but The Lincoln
Square Theatre is OPEN for you! We have strived
to bring quality entertainment to Decatur at a reasonable
admission price.
This past year we have had the following events
at the theatre:
Skid Row, Band on the Run, Jason Huneke, Mark Twain
(2x's), Legends Entertainment, Rachel West Kramer
(2x's), Al Hull's Elvi-Beetle Tribute (2x's), Rock
of Ages (2's), The Hitmen,The After Celebration
Party, Super Kid's Club (1x a month), Spanish Ballet,
Troy Taylor's Conferences & Tours, Hypnotist
Tom DeLuca, Dance Centre Recital, Michael Scherer's
"Exceeding Expectation",
"Rep Your Style Dance Contest", BLEND,Tribute
Bands KISS, OZZY & Guns n' Roses Weekend, Branson
on the Road (2x's), Boy Scout Event, Labor Day Weekend
Talent Concert, Grin & Bare It (Comedy), Steve
Lippia, Simply Sinatra, Part of the Hats Off to
the Neighborhood Event, Scott Wattles & The
Blue Suede Crew, "If You Take a Mouse To School"
a children's show, "Bride of Frankenstein,
1935 Movie", Mt. Zion Swingsations, Veterans
Day Event, A Sponsorship Party, Annual Christmas
Walk and numerous rentals.
As you can see we have brought in a wide variety
of entertainment for you and have been open to rentals
at reasonable rates.
If you haven't experienced the Lincoln yet, you
are invited to do so in 2010! And if you have been
here before, Welcome Back in 2010!

Now on an added note, I want to give special thanks
to everyone who has helped the theatre in any way.
To the staff of the Lincoln, to all my volunteers,
to all sponsors, to all "Friends of the Lincoln",
to all the LST board members (past, present &
future), and to all the patrons of the theatre,
I say THANK YOU! Without each of
you the Lincoln would be closed.
Come see us and relive the live theatre experience.
Pass that feeling on to the next generation of theatre
goers, give them the memories we all have about
the Lincoln.
